In support of Restore the Fourth

American flag waving

” The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized. ”

– Fourth amendment of the United States constitution-

The words above are not a novel ideal from a bygone era. They are alive and well everyday here in the present. They are under attack. An attack from a bloated bureaucracy drunk on power and hell bent on control. The power in this country resides with the citizens, the same citizens that created the government to serve the people.
This Fourth of July while we remember the great Americans, and great deeds that made this country the last bastion of freedom in the world there will be a great many people airing their grievances with the out of control over reaching government. Lilredhomestead stands beside and joins with all Americans standing to defend their rights against encroachment.

“All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing”

-Edmund Burke-

The words above are so very true. It does not take much to do something. A quick blog post, a note to your representative, or standing shoulder to shoulder with your fellow Americans. All are valid actions that will convey the serious message. The message is this.

End the NSA spying activity being perpetrated against the American people. Hold those responsible to account, and put in place measures to ensure that this breach of trust, and affront to freedom never happens again.

God bless the USA
