Bringing it together

Here we are again. In the last post I was tweaking the troughs so that all the components would fit.

In order to do this I have to take it apart. It sounds counter intuitive but I’m fairly confident it will work.

I now need to pull all the modified pieces together into a modified unit.

With the new troughs in place. It’s time to stretch them to the other side.

So.. Because I’m silly sometimes guess who gets to take the troughs back to the drawing board…. This guy. They refused to stretch without distorting horrifically.

Starting here with the feed line and overflow cut outs. Then on To the joining cutouts.

This version will not require stretching. Here you can see the results. I’m not 100% sold on the groove in the middle of the channel I almost feel like it would leak.

With a little more tweaking here they are put back together.

Next time up I’ll put all of the correct troughs where they belong.

Until next time.
