Mounding potatoes 

Generally when you mound potato rows you simply pull dirt from the sides and cover the plant. 

Same principle here but smaller. 


Notice the amount of stalk above the ground. We want to trick the potato into thinking it is less grown than it is. 


Notice how little was left above after the plant was mounded. 

This tricks the potato into storing energy in its roots which we than call potato, or dinner.

In the next potato post I’ll be adding more layers to the potato box.
