State park boondocking at emerald lake. Day one

We have arrived.  It’s near supper time and the bugs are thick as fog. The majority of the family is in the camper. Even the dogs have sought reprieve.

We are living with no power, water, or any other amenities that we have had all week. Needless to say there is a grumpy vibe in the air. That means it’s time to feed the troops.

In the evening I took a walk. There is a ton of great things to see

I found this little waterfall along side the road.

And this intersection in the middle of nowhere. Oddly the intersection is my favorite. There are no people for a long ways. This is of course helped out by the fact that we are about the only people here right now.

Early bed tonight.

Until next time…
