We added four Horseradish roots into the garden this year. This is our first year with horseradish so there is not a lot to say. Stay tuned, as we gain experience we will share for sure.
To plant this new plant we prepared the ground with a nice deep till and a healthy portion of compost. The roots were then placed in dug holes slightly larger than the root segment itself. When filling the hole a little bit of the root was left above the surface per the instructions.
We have not seen this portion yet, though I’m told grinding it is… fun.
