This one is an old standby. These are more grown for gifts than to eat here. They are a hoot to grow and harvest and the growth cycle is so short it makes the garden feel action packed. If you blink you will miss them.

To Plant:

These spicy plants go directly into the ground as soon as it is warm enough to work the soil. In no time they are up and then ready to harvest. Cover them over quick.

To harvest, grip the plant at the base of the green and gently pull. You can slice off the greenery and compost it. It makes lovely biomass.

If you are looking for a plant to start with these guys are a good start. They grow fast, taste good and are readily available.
